xiajiajun516/dsh-config-manager
One-click backup, export, import, and migration of an entire DSH configuration: settings, plugins, MCP, skills, and workspaces. Secrets are excluded from export by default; if you choose to include them, they are written with AES-256-GCM encryption rather than in plaintext. Import previews first, backs up automatically, and can roll back; profiles can store multiple configuration sets; remote sync pushes portable configuration without secrets through a private Git repository.

A backup, migration, and recovery tool for DSH configuration. It packages settings, model providers, plugins, MCP servers, skills, agent presets, and workspaces, restoring them in one click when you change computers or reinstall.
Features
- Backs up and restores the full DSH configuration, covering settings, models, plugins, MCP, skills, presets, and workspaces
- Supports scheduled full backups (6 hours / 12 hours / 24 hours / 7 days / custom), and scheduled backups never include secrets
- Exportable and importable, with migration to another machine
- Secrets are not exported by default; when included, they use AES-256-GCM encryption and are never written in plaintext
- Preview before import, automatic backup, rollback available; supports multiple profiles
- Can sync through a private Git repository or WebDAV; synced content contains no secrets
Good fit for
- You want to preserve your current configuration before changing computers or reinstalling
- Multiple machines need a consistent DSH environment
- You want a rollback point before breaking your configuration
Advice
- Export manually once after installation and store it outside the DSH directory (for example on cloud storage or another disk)
- Turn on scheduled backups and pick an interval that matches how often you change configuration
- Review the preview before restoring to confirm the target environment, so you do not overwrite the wrong machine
Cautions
- Security red line: reads credentials + network access — configuration may contain API keys, so treat exported files as sensitive
- Restoring overwrites the existing configuration; confirm the target environment before proceeding
- Scheduled backups exclude secrets, so keys must be re-entered after changing machines
Security red lines
- reads credentials/secrets AND has network access
