About & methodology

This site is the publication layer of two automated research projects. The research runs upstream; this site merges, typesets, indexes, and archives the results without changing conclusions or adding numbers that have no source.

Two data sources

Basis & known limits

1. HuggingFace download counts include packaged and quantized copies, so FLUX lines run high; to judge real adoption, check Civitai LoRA / fine-tune counts.
2. Civitai downloadCount is cumulative; period affects ranking only, not the returned number.
3. Some official weights are gated, so file size is unavailable; VRAM guidance is inferred from the official tutorial quantization tiers.
4. A LoRA or fine-tune may list multiple base models and therefore appears in several groups.
5. Example images are not embedded: the free API has no reliable image rating, so we only link out.
6. DSH star counts come from a mirror catalog and can lag if it does not refresh daily.
7. Without a token, GitHub quotas are shared per egress IP, so some fields may be missing or stale.
8. Sub-package star counts inherit the whole repo; attribution rules handle most cases, but boundary cases can still misclassify.

Baseline & deltas

This site established its baseline on 2026-10-24. Before the baseline there were no historical snapshots, so growth boards start on a proxy basis; both lines switch to real deltas between two snapshots once a comparable snapshot exists. The switch is automatic, and the current basis is always stated inline.

Privacy

No cookies, no analytics, no accounts, and no preferences stored in your browser. Clearing browser data is safe for this site.

Ads & sponsorship

This is a static site and shows no ads by default. If sponsorship is accepted, it appears only in fixed slots at the bottom or middle of a page, with an "Ad / Sponsored" label and attribution; ads never enter boards or search results.

Pages under "Archive" are generated by the two upstream research programs. This site copies them as-is and only injects a unified top bar; the text is unchanged. Their layout and color are preserved on purpose to separate "source material" from "this site's catalog".
