What it does

An open-source photo editor rewritten from scratch in pure Rust, aiming to be a local tool that can replace Photoshop. It is not a wrapper — it is a clean-room rewrite: the Photoshop source code is not consulted, and behavior is reimplemented from public behavior.

• Supports layers, masks, adjustment layers, layer styles, text, vectors, and brushes, plus real PSD file reading and writing

• Treat it as a "good-enough alternative" rather than a "PS clone": complex filters and 3D features most likely do not exist

Cautions

• A clean-room rewrite means feature coverage cannot keep up with Photoshop; do not expect missing features to be filled in right away
• Fidelity for complex PSDs (smart objects, third-party filter effects) may be incomplete, so back up important files first
• This is a community project; when something goes wrong you can only report it via issues, and there is no commercial support
