shuxidemosheng/dsh-tool-todo-plus

An enhanced fork of the official todo_write: task items support priority tags, full checklist rendering within the session, and a draggable in-session floating task panel (position memory / double-click reset / current action display).

Tool

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-tool-todo-plus

What it does

An enhanced version of the official todo tool (todo_write): it adds priority tags to the task list and displays a draggable floating task panel in the interface, so you can see at any time which step the agent has reached.

Features

  • Priority tags: tasks on the list can be marked by importance
  • Full checklist rendering, no longer subject to the official version's display limits
  • Floating task panel: pops up automatically when the model writes the list, following status transitions in real time
  • Shows the currently running tool during execution, so progress is visible between two list writes
  • Can collapse into a capsule state; after dragging, double-click to reset

Good fit for

  • Many task steps, and you want to see progress at any time
  • You want the agent's plan visible to you rather than buried in logs
  • You often run several tasks at once and need to distinguish priorities

Advice

  • Start with the default panel position and adjust once you are used to it
  • It is a fork of an official tool; after a DSH upgrade, check whether it has kept up
  • With many tasks, use the capsule state; the expanded state takes up screen space

Cautions

  • Replacing an official tool means it may lag behind official updates
  • An always-on panel occupies some interface space
  • It may conflict in behavior with similar todo plugins (such as the todo display in dsh-tui)
