What it does

A desktop pet that lives in the DSH interface, but it is not just decoration: the repository also includes a complete asset generation workflow for "how to make your own pet from scratch", including prompts and a pipeline that converts source videos into transparent animations.

Features

• More than one hundred transparent animations switch seamlessly at any time: idle breathing, dozing off, solving a Rubik's cube, eating hot pot, turning left and right, and roaming the screen
• Rich interactions: clicking produces a bouncy effect, dragging can fling it out and bounce it back, and a right-click menu plays selected actions
• Switches work-state animations in response to DSH session events, and can also play different animations according to balance tiers, show bubbles above its head, and mutter to itself
• Can be opened multiple times on the same screen, and can also be detached from the browser into a small transparent always-on-top window (desktop mode)
• Supports custom pet packs, so you can add entirely new pet types

Good fit for

• Likes desktop pets and wants the work interface to have some life
• Wants to generate a set of pet assets themselves (the repository provides prompts and the generation pipeline)
• Wants to use the pet for lightweight status prompts (for example, a reminder when a task is complete)

Advice

• For the desktop version, simply enter `dsh-pet` in the installation box under "Plugin Management" in the application; no terminal is needed
• If it is too noisy, turn off voice and bubbles first and keep only the animations
• Before opening multiple instances, check your machine's performance; many animations consume resources

Cautions

• It writes state files under ~/.dsh, which may remain after uninstalling and need to be cleaned up manually
• The number of animations and transparent rendering are unfriendly to older machines
• It is an entertainment-oriented plugin; do not expect it to improve work efficiency
